PlastiGrip ci Prong washer, a 1-3/4-inch diameter plastic tapered plate, attaches rigid insulation with nails or screws. The prongs enable pre-spotting into insulation for easy on-the-wall fastener assembly. Flexible perimeter flattens without tearing the insulation face.
Use GripDeck® screws/fasteners to install rigid insulation. These fasteners go over a primary air barrier. They accommodate XPS, polyiso, EPS, and mineral wool.
*For applications where rigid insulation is being attached and installed as the air barrier, use 2″ diameter Thermal-Grip® or Prong washers for superior air barrier performance.
