The Karp Associates KAFA aluminum recessed floor door is available in a variety of panels—recessed 1/8″ for resilient tile, smooth, abrasive coated, and embossed diamond pattern. Frames are easy to install and sealed with a rubber cork strip.
The panel shall be secured with 1/4-20 x 3/4″ flat head machine screws. Frame shall have two sliding nut rails for mounting panel assembly to the floor. Frame shall also have a vertical nut rail to accept 1/4″ nuts and a horizontal nut rail to accept 3/16″ nuts.
All hardware shall be stainless steel, and doors shall have a mill finish. The manufacturer shall guarantee material and workmanship for ten years.
OPTIONS: Diamond Tread Plate, Recessed 1/16″ for VCT, Recessed 1/8″ for VCT/Carpet.
