All hardware is hidden behind a gypsum inlay, and when installed blends seamlessly into walls and ceilings. The door panel of the KAD is completely removeable providing unobstructed access in walls and ceilings!
KAD Aluminum Drywall Access Door Specifications
- Trim: 4-piece Aluminum extrusion
- Door: 4-piece Aluminum extrusion with drywall installed
- Frame: Depth of the frame shall be .75″ and is designed for 5/8″ drywall with .125″ compound applied at installation
- Gasket: Gasketing between the door and frame shall be 0.6″ wide by 0.125″ thick continuous gasket
- Door: Drywall insert shall be 5/8″ thick
- Latch: Concealed mechanical touch-latch
- Hinge: Free pivoting hinge
- Finish: unpainted mill-finish aluminum
- Door Assembly: Completely removable for maximum clearance
- Safety cable must be installed to conned door and frame assembly
