FD2WI Series Inward Opening Fire Rated Access Door | Wall Only

FD2WI Series is for wall installation when the door panel must open inward.  This design is ideal for when an outward opening door inhibits the movement of people, traffic, or equipment.  The only access panel on the market with an inward-opening door, without springs.  

• Materials: Satin finish galvannealed steel or 304 stainless steel
• Frame: 16 ga up to and including 30" x 48", larger sizes are 14 ga  Depth = 3-1/2"
• Flange: Exterior flange width is 7/8".  Overall width is 1-1/2"
• Door Panel: 18 gauge, 22 gauge liner, with inside pull handle
• Insulation: The door panel contains 1-1/2" of high temperature insualtion material
• Finishes: Rust-inhibitive off-white prime coate or #4 polished stainless steel finish on exterior surface
• Hinges:  Concealed continuous piano hinge allows the door panel to open inward 90°.  The hinge is placed on the "H" dimension.
• Panel Closer: Concealed door closer allows the door panel to be self-closing and self-latching from an open position of 90° as required by NFPA 80.
• Latch: Flush mount 1/4" Allen key.  All fire-rated panels are self-latching with interior release.
• Sizes: Minimum size 6" x 6", maximum sizes 48" x 60".
