Karp Associates custom-makes KRVB Recessed Valve Boxes with louvers, peepholes, or glass panels. We can drill or punch the boxes for pipes or conduits of all sizes.
KRVB Recessed Valve Box Specifications
- Material: The box is 16-gauge steel, and the door is 14-gauge steel.
- Hinge: Concealed continuous piano hinge.
- Locks: Flush and screwdriver-operated with stainless steel can and studs, or key-operated cylinder locks with automatic dust shutters.
- Anchor to Frame: Holes 1/4″ diameter are provided for anchoring to framing.
- Finish: Prime coat of rust-inhibitive electrostatic powder, baked white enamel
- Finish Option: Type 304 stainless steel suits exterior weather and interior hygienic locations including hospitals, health care, pharma plants, labs. Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant, durable, and requires very little maintenance. Karp’s stainless steel access doors have a No. 4 satin finish, a general-purpose bright finish with a visible ‘grain” that prevents mirror reflection.
