The Hinge and CAM Latch Duct Karp Access Door (KHD Duct Door) are furnished with hinges and a cam latch. Frames are easily attached to duct with notched knock-over tabs.
KHD Duct Door Specifications
- Door Material: Sizes of 12×12 inches and smaller, door will be 24 gauge galvanized steel, On door sizes of 14×14 inches and larger, door will be 22 gauge galvanized steel.
- Frame: is 22 gauge galvanized steel.
- Hinge: Aluminum, continuous piano. (Or omit hinge and supply with double cam latches)
- Door: Filled with 2″ thick fiberglass insulation compressed into 1″. R factor = 7.7
- Gasketing: Between the door and frame is 1/2″ thick by 1/8″ wide closed cell neoprene gasket.
- Latches: Cam latches are zinc-plated steel – self-tightening and hand-operated.
- Frame: The back of the frame has 5/8″ notched knock-over edges.
