The KFD-SD – Hinged Floor Standard Duty Karp Access Door provides a sturdy access door in any concrete application. The KFD-SD Floor Door is a standard duty (300#/sg. ft.). When required, the floor door can be watertight, spring-assisted, and equipped with a stainless steel snap lock. KFD-SD Specifications

• Door Frame: Aluminum extrusion with integral anchor flanges (watertight frame includes drain channel and neoprene gasket).
• Hinges: Hinges and all hardware shall be stainless steel and attached with tamperproof fasteners
• Door Lid: The door lid shall be a diamond tread plate that can withstand a live load of 300 lbs./sq.ft. or H20 loading without impact. Stainless steel compression springs (optional) shall assist operation. A hold-open arm shall automatically lock the door in a 90° position.
• Finish: Mill finish, with a bituminous coating applied to the exterior of the frame.
• Lock: Doors shall be equipped with a stainless steel slam lock with a cover plug and removable handle
• Lock / Latch Options: The door can be equipped with a staple, staple, and hasp, recessed hasp, stainless steel snap, brass pentahead, or keyed cylinder lock.
• Options: Skirting to a depth of the slab, fiberglass insulation, safety chains, and posts.
