The Acudor DW-5058 Access Door with a drywall insert is standard with a concealed touch latch. The latch is designed for easy and reliable opening when the access door is installed in a wall or ceiling. This access door features a concealed touch latch for reliable operation and allows for easy access.
The DW-5058 is designed for installation into a 5/8″ drywall wall or ceiling and is also available for 1/2″ drywall.

DW-5058 Access Door Specifications
- Material: Aluminum extrusion with 5/8″ drywall in door panel
- Door: .080″ Aluminum
- Door Frame: .080″ Aluminum extrusion recessed to provide a similar edge to drywall bead to allow for finishing of wall or ceiling surface
- Hinge: A spring-loaded hinge pin allows the door panel to open to 90 degrees and be removed from the frame. For safety, a safety chain is installed on the door and frame.
- Standard Latch: Concealed Touch Latches
- Optional Latches/Locks: screwdriver-operated cam latch, allen head cam latch, spanner head cam latch, cylinder lock, and key.
