The Acudor DW-5015 recessed drywall metal access door is designed for flush installation on drywall surfaces when the door panel must be concealed. The door panel is recessed 5/8″ to receive drywall and has a drywall bead.

The door’s flange is a textured galvanized steel taping bead with pre-punched holes. When the drywall joints are finished, a drywall compound is applied over the beading.

The Acudor AT-5020 is identical to the DW-5015 for use in acoustic ceilings, with the galvanized steel taping bead flange omitted.
