The DSC-214M Stainless Steel Access Door is a universal, flush access door that can be installed on all surfaces and comes standard with a screwdriver cam latch. It is a distinctly superior door for new installations or remodeling.

The exposed flange adds rigidity to the unit and perfectly conceals the rough wall opening. The DSC-214M Access Door now comes standard with removable doors. Flexible and anchor straps can be provided for installation within the masonry opening. In addition, the DSC-214M access door is also available in prime coated.

Type 304 stainless steel is well-suited for exterior weather or interior hygienic locations,  such as hospitals, health care, pharmaceutical plants, research laboratories, and food processing facilities. Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant, durable, and requires very little maintenance. Karp’s stainless steel access doors have a No. 4 satin finish, a general-purpose bright finish with a visible ‘grain” that prevents mirror reflection.

DSC-241M Stainless Steel Access Door Options

• Aluminum is ideal for any installations or environments that require a strong, lightweight, and rust-resistant access door.
• Louvers can be integrated into its door design to satisfy architectural and ventilation requirements.
• Safety chains are ideally suited for large access door ceiling installations by securing the door when it is unattended.
• Masonry straps secure the installation of Karp’s doors in masonry applications.
• A 1/16″ x 3/8″ neoprene gasket can be added to the door, providing a tighter seal between the door and the door frame and protecting it from exposure to outside elements.

DSC-214M Stainless Steel Access Locking and Latching Options

• Combined with any lock manufacturer’s 1-18″ mortise cylinder lock. Karp’s mortise preparation provides the highest level of security. It is ideally suited for asylum, detention centers, or any environment where added durability and security are required.
• A cylinder locking device provides keyed access from the outside of the door. The night latch will also have a small thumb latch that allows the spring latch to remain in a retracted position, which provides access at any time.
• The Spanner Head is an economical tamper-proof latching option.
• The Allen Head Security Latch is an economical, tamper-resistant latching mechanism that discourages theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry because it cannot be opened without an Allen wrench.
• An economical cylinder locking device proved keyed access from the outside of the door.
• The Knob Turn Latch is finger-operated and is beneficial because tools are not available or when tools are not desirable for opening and closing the access door.
• The T-Handle Latch with 90° turn is available with or without a keyed-like cylinder lock.
• Combined with any lock manufacturer’s detention lock, Karp’s Detention Lock preparation provides maximum security. It is ideally suited for asylums, detention centers, or any environment where added durability and security are required.
• The economical cylinder locking device provides keyed access from the outside of the door.
