The Karp DSB-123SD High-Security Access Door enables architects and institutions to provide maximum security in areas requiring a high-security access panel for repair or maintenance. It is designed for installation in jails, hospitals, and other high-security areas.
DSB-123SD High-Security Access Door Specifications
- Frame:Â 3/16″ x 2″ x 2″ angle welded with joints ground smooth.
- Door: 10-gauge steel.
- Door Frame: Masonry anchor straps and 1/4″ mounting holes are included on all frames.
- Hinges:Â Heavy-duty and welded to the door and frame.
- Locks: A heavy-duty detention-type lock (or as specified) shall be the primary locking device. Additional locking devices shall be spanner-head cam latches welded flush to the door’s surface.
- Finish: Prime coat of rust-inhibitive, electrostatic powder-baked enamel.
