Starter Trac™ functions as both a STARTER TRAC™ and a casing bead. Therefore, it provides a clean and durable termination edge for stucco and EIFS systems.
The 1″ face return flange features engineered striations. As a result, it creates a strong mechanical bond with the base coat. In addition, integrated perforations allow the base coat to bond securely to the substrate.
The 3″ wide nailing flange also includes bonding striations. Consequently, it improves adhesion and enhances installation stability.
Starter Trac™ is manufactured from exterior-grade PVC. Because of this, it offers excellent impact resistance and long-lasting durability. Moreover, the material is rust-proof, ensuring a clean and reliable termination corner.
Finally, Starter Trac™ is ideal for applications where the finished edge remains exposed. For added moisture management, it is also available with optional weep holes.
Trim-tex recommends following industry-standard installation methods. All butt joints, intersections, and ends should be caulked at the time of installation using elastomeric sealant.
