The Acudor WD-8000 Steel Access Door is designed to provide convenient walk-through access to ductwork interiors and air handling units. Its heavy-duty construction, continuous hinge, and compression handle ensure low leakage in low—to medium-pressure systems and plenums.

WD-8000 Access Door Features

• Low to medium-pressure systems and plenums
• The door panel is filled with 1″ thick fiberglass insulation
• Doors 48″ high and under have two handles
• Doors over 48″ high have three handles
• Heavy-duty construction, along with a continuous hinge and compression hinges
• Continuous steel piano hinge that opens to 180 degrees

• Door/Door Frame: 22 gauge galvanized steel, double panel frame is 1-15/16″ wide x 1-1/2″ deep extruded aluminum with mitered corners
• Hinge: Continuous steel piano hinge opens 180 degrees
• Insulation: Door Panel filled with 1″ thick fiberglass insulation -4R value
• Gasket: 1/8″ thick x 1/2″ wide closed cell neoprene gasket between door and frame
• Standard Latch: Dual-acting compression handles operable from both sides. Units 48″ high and under have two handles. Units over 48″ have three handles
• Finish: Mill finish
