The FF Systems F2DFC Ceiling Access Door is a drywall bead flange access panel with a removable door and drywall inlay, designed for installation in ceilings.
When you apply pressure to the spring-loaded latch side, the concealed snap locks open the access panel.
The F2DFC Access Door has a welded aluminum frame and is available with 5/8″ (15.9 mm) drywall and two latches. The outer and inner frame assemblies are made of high-grade aluminum bonded with a unique welding process.
The access panels have a safety system to prevent accidental openings in sizes 12″ x 12″ (305 mm x 305 mm) and up. If you remove the hatch, you must reattach this safety system. A reveal of 1/16 of an inch (1.59 mm) is visible between the outer frame and door hatch.
