The Steel Network (TSN) StiffClip® LB-HD Seismic Spandrel connects exterior wall studs to the building’s structure, such as in a spandrel wall slab bypass condition. LB-HD uses a unique design that incorporates strengthening return lips and ribs to increase bending strength. StiffClip® LB-HD resists both horizontal and vertical loads. Pre-punched guide holes on each leg improve installation efficiency.
When PAFs are not permitted, the StiffClip® LB-HD fastens to the concrete deck with two ¼” concrete screw anchors.
