Karp proudly introduces our newly redesigned STC-64 Acoustical Sound Rated Access Door. Karp designed the STC-64 to reduce sound transmission and contain noise from mechanical systems and environmental sources. The STC-64 is ideal for sound issues in high-rise residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and judicial settings. Karp validated the redesigned STC access door against exacting standards, including ASTM E1332, E90, and E413.

The Karp STC-64 Acoustical Access Door is a high-quality, galvanized steel access door fabricated with 2 3/8″ thick acoustical insulation. It provides a Sound Transmission Class of 64—the highest in the industry. The 3/8″ by 1/8″ closed-cell neoprene gasket additionally contributes to the access door’s noise reduction capability.

Also available in stainless steel. A lockable compression latch is standard. All STC-64s are made to order.
