JL Industries Security and Detention Steel Cabinets for fire extinguishers, fire hoses, or fire department valves are constructed to meet maximum security requirements in areas requiring fire protection.
- Door and Trim: Doors are 12-gauge (0.27 cm) steel or 14-gauge #4 satin-finish stainless steel. The flush cabinet doors are mounted in a 5/8” door stop and attached with a heavy-duty continuous hinge. Non-rated cabinet frames have 1-1/2” face trim.
- Trim Style and Depth: The frame has a 1-1/2” trim. Three trim options are available. They include recessed with flat trim, semi-recessed with a 2-1/2-inch square trim, or a surface-mount model with a square edge.
- Tub: Steel models have 14-gauge steel with a white powder-coat primer finish. All recessed models have heavy-duty masonry anchors welded to the frame.
- Lock Prep: Detention deadlock, detention slam lock, or mortise cylinder. Installed locks are also available.
- Fire-Rated Option Available: Yes.
- Cabinet options include an ADA flush pull. It also offers vertical or horizontal lettering. Optional steel cabinet colors and a duo panel door with Lexan® Glazing are available.
