OVAL Purple K Dry Chemical Fire extinguishers Features
- Application: 10-lb. Purple K dry chemical fire extinguisher for wall and column mounting. Highly effective on flammable liquid fires. Suitable for use on Class B and C fires. Not recommended for use on sensitive electronic equipment.
- Mounting: The fire extinguisher may be mounted on a wall with a patented swivel hook. The hook holds the unit securely, even if bumped or pushed.
- Accessibility: Fire extinguisher depth is 3″. When a wall or column-mounted unit complies with the 4″ maximum limit for protruding objects as required by the Americans with Disability Acts (ADA0 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design.
- Healthcare Facilities: Facilitates compliance with CMS accessibility requirements. When installed with a ligature-resistant cabinet, it is suitable for high-risk environments. It is certified as “MR Conditional” for safe use in environments with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment up to 3 Teslas.
