Metacaulk® 1200 Firestop Sealant is a water-based, general-purpose firestop sealant for construction joints such as top-of-the-wall, curtain wall perimeter, expansion, control, and general construction gaps and voids.

A spray application of  1200 Firestop Sealant provides a fast, economical means of installation for long joint runs. Self-leveling is made for horizontal applications where quick installation is necessary.

Metacaulk® 1200 Firestop Sealant caulk grade is a non-sag sealant that is easy to apply. It cures an elastomeric membrane seal suitable for areas with dynamic movement.

In a fire, the firestop sealant will prevent the spread of flames, smoke, hot gases, and water through the joint openings. No dilution or mixing is required for use. It can be caulked from a tube, brushed or troweled from the pail, applied with a spray pump, or poured.

Metacaulk® 1200 Firestop Sealant systems are rated for up to 4-hour conditions and are also excellent, fire-rated acoustical sealants.
