The KRP-250FR Stainless Steel Non-Insulated Fire Rated Karp Access Door is a flush-mounted access door with mounting holes to facilitate installation. It is a non-insulated access door for wall installation only and is rated by Underwriters Laboratories for 1.5 hours with a “B” label for the walls. It may also be used in a 2-hour wall assembly.

The KRP-250FR Access Door has a stainless steel finish and a #4 Door. It is made of 16 gauge steel. The KRP-250FR Fire Rated Access Door is also available in white baked enamel.

KRP-250FR Stainless Steel Fire Rated Access Door Specifications

• Door Frame: The frame is 1″ trim and 16 gauge steel with anchor straps.
• Door: 16 gauge steel.
• Hinge: Exposed continuous piano hinge.
• Latch: Automatic closure with interior latch release.
• Latches: The latch shall be a keyed paddle latch (keyed alike), or access doors shall be prepared for rim cylinder locks using our house lock or keyed to your system using an interchangeable core housing.
• Finish: Stainless steel shall have #4. The door shall be 16 gauge steel.
• Finish Option: Prime coat of rust-inhibitive electrostatic powder, baked enamel.

KRP-250FR Stainless Steel Fire Rated Access Door Options

• The cylinder locking device provides keyed access from the outside of the door. The night latch also has a small thumb latch that allows the spring latch to remain in a retracted position, which provides access at any time.
• Masonry straps secure the installation of Karp’s doors in masonry application.
