The Acudor FW-5050-UP Access Door is an upswing door for ceiling installation. The FW-5050-UP is an insulated, fire-rated, inward-opening ceiling access door approved as a ceiling access door. Warnock Hersey International has approved this access panel for 3 hours in fire-rated ceilings.
FW-5050-UP Access Door Specifications:
- For ceilings: Warnock Hersey International 3-hour rated in a non-combustible ceiling. One hour in a combustible ceiling. Max size is 24″ x 36″
- Inside latch release
- 16 gauge door panel. Flush to frame with reinforced edges filled with 2″ thick fire insulation
- Inward-opening door panels in ceilings

- Material: Steel or Stainless Steel: 14 gauge door, 14 gauge mounting frame.
- Door: 16 gauge, flush to the frame with reinforced edges filled with 2″ thick fire insulation
- Mounting Frame: 16 gauge mounting frame, with trim 1″ wide
- Hinge: Continuous with coil spring for dampening
- Fire Rating (Walls): UL-1-1/2 hour “B’ label. Max size: 36″ x 48”
- Fire Rating (Ceiling): Warnick Hersey International 3-hour rated in a non-combustible ceiling. One hour rated in a combustible ceiling. Max size 24″ x 36″
- Standard Latch: L Handle, operated from both sides
- Finish: Steel: 5-stage iron phosphate with prime coat of white baked-on enamel. Stainless Steel: #4 satin polish
