Fire Bead® is a fast, cost-effective firestopping solution designed for head-of-wall, bottom-of-wall, and vertical drywall joints. Featuring an integrated intumescent fire barrier and a flexible 1/2″ bubble gasket, Fire Bead helps block the passage of fire, smoke, and sound while allowing for up to 1/4″ of building deflection. Available with 1-hour and 2-hour fire ratings, it eliminates the need for traditional fire caulk, creating a faster, cleaner installation with long-lasting performance. It is also UL GREENGUARD Gold Certified.
Unlike conventional firestopping methods, Fire Bead installs fully cured and remains permanently flexible. It won’t shrink, crack, or dry out over time, helping contractors reduce labor while maintaining reliable code-compliant fire protection.
