The Steel Network BridgeBar® Bridging Channel is a light-gauge cold-formed steel framing connector that replaces a cold-rolled channel (CRC) for wall bridging.
Unique grooves every 4″ trap the stud web, allowing installers to space any wall layout. The grooves adjust to various stud thicknesses, trapping the stud web for maximum strength. BridgeBar® incorporates stiffeners to resist compressive loads through the wall’s plane.
BridgeBar®’s standard U-channel shape ensures use through ¾” and 1½” stud punch-outs.
