The VertiClip® SL Slide Angle links wall studs to the building frame and permits vertical deflection up to 1½ inches. VertiClip® SL Slide Angle design creates an anti-friction, anti-seizure connection between the clip and stud web, preventing loads from entering curtain-wall framing. Using VertiClip® SL instead of friction-fit track assemblies helps protect liability by using positive mechanical attachments to the stud web.
VertiClip® SL Slide Angle is a component of VertiTrack® VTX, our pre-assembled deflection track.
View more information on allowable loads on the product data sheet. Allowable loads are based on the use of two #12 screws for attachment to a stud (provided by TSN).
To designate the proper clip-on drawings, multiply stud depth by 100. We tailor VertiClip® SL to match stud depth.
Example: 6” stud. Designate SL600.
