StiffClip® RT (Roof Tie) series, by The Steel Network, secures and ties down roof framing members. StiffClip® RT is a unique shape that incorporates stiffened legs to increase compressive strength and resist horizontal, lateral, and uplift loads.
The allowable design load table shown is based on the use of StiffClip® as it is attached to various steel stud material thicknesses and yield strengths. Design loads consider loads on the clip and the use of #12 screw fasteners relative to the framing material.
