The Steel Network DriftClip® DSLB Exterior Bypass Slab (Drift Slide Angle Drywall, Exterior Head of Wall) is used to connect exterior cold-formed steel curtain wall studs to the slab. It bypasses the primary structure while allowing for vertical deflection up to 2″ (1″ up and down) and 2″ lateral drift (1″ left and right, in-plane).
TSN’s patented Step Bushing Technology provides an anti-friction, anti-seizure connection between the clip, the stud web surface, and the track.
Note: DriftClip® DSLB 362/400 is 3.75 inches by 3.625 inches, DriftClip® DSLB 600 is 3.75 inches by 6 inches, and DSLB 800 is 3.75 inches by 8 inches.
