The Acudor DW-5040 Access Door is a metal access door designed for installation in drywall walls and ceilings after drywall is installed. The flange is a textured galvanized steel taping bead with pre-punched holes.
Apply drywall compound over the beading while finishing the drywall joints. After application is complete, only the door panel remains exposed. Our unique concealed hinge and screwdriver-operated cam latches allow the door panel to operate freely without binding, sagging, or distortion.

- Material: 20-gauge galvanized formed door panel, 26-gauge galvanized frame
- Door: Formed door panel with multiple bends for added strength, flanged on four sides; integral perforated taping bead adds rigidity
- Hinge: Concealed
- Standard Latch: Slot screwdriver-operated cam latch; Optional Latches/Locks: Cylinder lock & key, Allen head cam latch, spanner head cam latch, Torx
- Finish: white baked-on polyester powder coat on door panel. The frame is to be mill finish.
